Since 1999 we are cheese artisans. Generations of master cheesemakers precede us and from them we have learned our profession.
We are located in Villafranca de los Barros, the heart of Tierra de Barros, well known for the excellent cheeses made by Quesería Tierra de Barros. Our path has not always been easy; we have had to prove day after day that our product is of great quality without being able to lower our guard at any time and David (we) continues to fight against Goliath before the effort of this one to take away our brand "Torta de Barros".

On the farms the sheep are milked and fed according to traditional methods, maintaining the balance with the environment. The milk, totally free of impurities, is transported to the cheese factory.
There it is transformed by the hands of the master cheese maker, Ernesto Méndez, and his team. In his hands take place the "Cheese Miracle".
In the cellars, flooded with aroma, the cheeses remain silent until the moment of seeing the light.
Our secret is constancy, respect for animals and our roots and our desire is to have your trust and appreciation for our art.
The product obtained is of the highest quality, keeping intact its flavor, rustic presence and the personality of the pastures, while retaining the creamy texture that only well-made cheeses possess.
